Street Whispers Mission
On StreetWhispers we plan to bring the funny, bizarre, outrageous and
unreasonable, whimsical, challenging the status quo - wild errant
thoughts, observations - tears and laughter - poetry, prose - obscenities
and all you see on the street, from the homeless to the lovers, or a balloon
in the air that just escaped a child's hold, a true expression of free
speech, including animals that look like their owners.
Your whispers are welcome to be included if we deem them street worthy [
what is street worthy ? ] and to
be shared with others without adding more noise and chaos to the streets,
especially the streets of New York, unless its
the streets of some very whispery community which need some noise. We shall add your noise to the echo of StreetWhispsers, but we cant compensate you since its hard to find a
dollar bill on the street. All dollar contributions are welcome. So be
generous and help keep this site afloat.
Amidst the StreetWhispers we shall be able to bring to you, overheard
conversations to words of wisdom and the political pulse of the street in
its raw form without any influence from any special interest group.
We love
Right wing, Left wing, chicken wings, no wings and turkeys too. So folks cackle away....frown
and scream at our comments and we shall even post your displeasure here too.
You never know how far the whisperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssss travel and how
loud could they get ? -------hearken I hear a cacophony of
................let me bring you back the moments in someone else's life.
Some announcing their personal life in a bus or park as the scream in their
cellular phone. giving out intimate details.
We start from the streets of Manhattan, New York and pick up other towns and
cities as we go along.
Don't forget that there are images and pictures and feel free to visit
archives. Enjoy and add your voice to the madness of the day ....Bartender
pour me another fuzzy navel please.
This Site brings to
you thoughts and reactions and what is overheard on the street in its
un-purged form. Some language is offensive but that is how the streets hum
and at times the grammar incorrect, but that is intentional for the street
is not perfect...........Are streetwhispers also referred to as blog or blogs
... we shall give a commentary on current or political situations, both
global and local. In the true definition of the word blog, we are not
bloggers. Definiton of Blog follows:

blogosphere]
A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of
updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger."
Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with
little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog.
Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in chronological order with
the most recent additions featured most prominantly.
Journalists and Photographers
If you are a journalist or a photographer we shall make every effort
to give you your own page on this site, for your
comments/articles/photographs. We edit nothing we censor nothing and take no
responsibility for anyone work. We just present it to our readers and let
them form their own opinions.
