We think both sides will regroup and fight again soon. Forgive the skepticism. Israel has almost run out of jet fuel and probably Hezbollah of rockets. So far no rockets. Fighting has intensified in the last hours. 12:24 pm Almost less the thirteen hours left for before the ceasefire. Will it hold and really happen? Is Olmert of Israel fighting for his political survival. He has been receiving increased criticism from with in. Is Nasrallah of Hizbollah sincere about following the UN resolution? Hope the two sides are earnest when they agree to it and will not use ceasefire  to regroup and reload and attack again. One wonders why couldn't the two sides agree to a prisoner swap earlier. After all that was the point of contention. So many lives lost, so many tears shed, so many lives rent asunder ... for what? 12:05 am - Now that Scotland Yard and Pakistani authorities have successfully foiled a terrorist  air borne massacre, what are the airlines doing to make the passengers comfortable? While the restrictions on carrying liquids on board makes sense, for security reasons, yet Airlines are not making any effort to provide small containers to passengers so that they do not have to throw away their cologne, lipsticks et al. Its like throwing close to a hundred plus dollars in the trash. Add up the cost of cologne, aftershave, lipsticks, mascara, eyeliner, deodorant, lip gloss, and other toiletries in liquid form, it all adds up to lots of dollars. These new air travel restrictions are just a day or two old, its yet to be seen if airlines will come forward by providing small containers that can be checked and carried in the hold of the plane. I think we need to revert back to to the good old early days of air travel, when airlines like PanAm, BOAC (those of you old enough to recall) and others alike, would give a bag of toiletries when one boarded the plane. As a man traveling from point A to point B just for an overnight, who does not want to check in a bag but just carries a clean shirt, undies and shaving stuff is in deep trouble. He cant carry a canister of shaving cream or tube. No after shaves or colognes and no moustache or nose hair trimmers, forget toothpaste .... dog breath is known to scare terrorists. His running as an independent will take away votes from the democrats, and republicans both, since he has following in both camps. We hope he loses as an independent too.
